Before the Mojave

Crossing the Mojave tomorrow morning to those cloud covered mountains. In other news, stepped in an ant nest while I stopped to change shirts, was covered in pissed off ants in no time. Literally all over my feet and legs. Ready to be out of the desert. Had a pleasant hike through some oak forests later today which was very unexpected. Got to hiker town, got my supplies, had to take a shower via headlamp, cut my toe on exposed ceramic edges…not liking this place too much, excited to leave in the morning. Hope the wind dies down and for once in my life I hope the clouds hang around as well.
