Family Reunion

The Salazar family brought some awesome ceviche for lunch today. Never had it before, but it was delicious! This family has kept me fat and happy for a solid 2 days with authentic meals and I feel right at home with them…its bittersweet but I'm stoked to start hiking again and tackle the last bits of southern California and the Mojave desert. I leave southern cali and start the Sierra in about 2 weeks.

Back on trail, finishing up the last bits of the Angeles national forest, and of course eating very well. An entire bag of salad for lunch and a whole 12 ounce kielbasa for dinner (x3 of what's in the picture). Doing a few Spanish lessons while I have service, writing in my journal, then knocking out 22 more miles in the AM.
